Srinagar 30 November (KNB): Retired Lt. General Vinod G Khandare on Monday cautioned the young students at Prahar Samaj Jagruti Sanstha (PSJS) about the use of smartphones and told them that they are like six-inch weapons.
While addressing students at PSJS academy, Lt. Gen. Khandare informed them about the need of being vigilant when using smartphones. He said that the phones are being used in disseminating fake news and other inflammatory content, which could be detrimental to the country’s unity.
During his address to the students at PSJS, Khandare also said to them that smartphones are like ‘six-inch weapons’.
However, Lt. General Khandare also informed the students about the prevailing circumstances in India and neighbouring countries with regard to defence, politics and others. (KNB)
