2 Months On, Sopore’s Missing Fruit Trader Nowhere to be Found, Family Stage Protest

Srinagar 30 November (KNB): The family of a missing Sopore fruit trader, Ghulam Nabi Naiqoo, on Tuesday, staged a protest at Press Colony demanding to find out the missing.  

The family members, relatives and fellow fruit traders of missing Ghulam Nabi Naiqoo were up in arms against the failure of police and others in finding the missing person.   

As per family members, Naiqoo had left his home on 22 September of this year for Sopore Fruit mandi and from where he had informed his wife that he is heading towards Shopian in connection to his business.

Later, as per the missing’s elder brother, Naiqoo has been nowhere to be found for two months and ten days despite having filed the missing report in this regard. He said that the family went from pillar to post and met police officers to help them trace the missing.

“Unfortunately, till now, there has been no clue retrieved so far about him (G N Naiqoo),” said the elder brother of the missing person.

He further appealed to higher authorities to help in tracing the missing Ghulam Nabi Naiqoo so that the distraught family would have a sigh of relief. (KNB)
