Kupwara 20 February (KNB): After an old shell burst on Saturday morning in school in Kupwara district’s Handwara area, a sweeper sustained injuries when he was engaged in his regular duty of cleaning school premises.
As per officials, the bursting of an old shell rendered the sweeper, who was identified as Reyaz Ahmad, injured. He was cleaning the do routine duty of cleaning the school premises when the incident happened.
However, the injured was later whisked off to the nearby hospital for treatment, where he is believed to be stable as of now.
Pertinently, the concerned police of the Handwara has also maintained that the shell which burst was old in which the sweeper had suffered injuries. (KNB)
