No Blast at Children’s Hospital Srinagar, Viral Social Media Claims False

Srinagar 20 June(KNB): A video circulating on social media claiming that a blast occurred at Children’s Hospital Srinagar has been found to be misleading.

Hospital sources told KNB, “The reports of a blast at Children’s Hospital Srinagar are completely false. The incident was caused by an oxygen pipeline leak, which was promptly addressed. All patients, attendants, and hospital staff are safe, and there has been no injury or damage. We urge the public not to fall for rumours and to verify facts before sharing information on social media.”

Sources confirmed that all patients, attendants, doctors, and hospital staff are safe. No injuries or damage were reported, and normal hospital functioning continues.

Hospital authorities urged the public not to believe or share unverified information circulating online. They said spreading rumors without verification can create unnecessary panic, particularly in sensitive places such as hospitals.

Officials reiterated that the situation remains completely under control and that there is no cause for alarm.(KNB)
