Srinagar 02 February (KNB): An unidentified militant has been killed by government forces in an ongoing encounter in south Kashmir Shopian’s Nadigam area, said police on Wednesday afternoon.
The encounter started at Nadigam area of Shopian after a cordon and search operation was carried out by a joint team of Police, CRPF and Army.
In the subsequent gunfight, police said that one militant has been killed by forces. It was also said that the operation is going on in the area at the moment. (KNB)
