Fire Damages House in Palhallan Pattan

Srinagar 02 February (KNB): A two storey house in Raipora area of Palhallan Pattan in North Kashmir was damaged in a fire incident on Wednesday late morning. 

The locals told Kashmir News Bureau that the fire took place on the second floor of the house around 11 am today, damaging the floor of the house completely in the incident. 

According to the owner of the house, Abdul Hamid Shah, the fire purportedly started due to a short circuit in the second floor of the house. However, the fire was later on doused by the fire and emergency personnel along with the timely efforts of the locals of the area.  

In the fire incident, locals said that no one was injured with family members of the house also safe. It was further said that the SDM Pattan Syed Faheem and concerned Police also rushed to the spot of incident. (KNB)
