Srinagar 24 December (KNB): An unidentified militant has been killed by government forces in an ongoing encounter in south Kashmir Anantnag’s Arwani area.
As per officials, the encounter started during an intervening night of Thursday and Friday at Arwani after a cordon and search operation was carried out by a joint team of Police, CRPF and Army.
In the ongoing gunfight, one unidentified militant has been killed by government forces. As per reports, around 2-3 three militants were believed to be trapped at the encounter site.
However, the slain militant’s identity is yet to be known and might be revealed later in the day. (KNB)
