MeT Predicts No Major Rainfall in Next 10 Days in J&K

Srinagar 08 September (KNB): Meteorological department on Wednesday said that there is no forecast of any major rainfall for the next 10 days in J&K. 

The MeT department in its official update cancelled any chances of major rainfall to occur in J&K during the next 10 days. However, the intermittent light rainfall prediction in the next couple of days in J&K is being predicted by the weather forecaster. 

The official said that “Intermittent light to Moderate rain is likely especially in the morning/evening during the next 2 days and mainly dry thereafter.” 

Regarding the rainfall observed since Wednesday morning in Kashmir’s different parts and at many places of Jammu, the official said that this spell of rain is most likely going to decrease gradually and would stop thereafter.

However, the weather official has stressed on the prediction of no major rainfall to be observed in the next ten days in J&K. (KNB)
