Srinagar, 21 November(KNB): Mehbooba Mufti, President of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) visited the residence of Ab Rehman Rah in Chanapora today to extend her condolences on the passing of his wife, the maternal aunt of the party’s additional spokesperson Abdul Rouf Bhat.
Accompanied by prominent party members including Abdul Qayoom Bhat, Waheed Parra, Arif Laigroo, Aman Zargar, Fayaz Reshi and others.
Mufti expressed her deep sorrow at the loss. She described the departed as a noble human being, emphasizing her politeness, humility and unwavering commitment to social service.
During the visit, Mufti shared memories of the deceased, highlighting her contributions to the community and society at large. She prayed for Almighty Allah to grant solace and peace to the departed soul and urged strength for the grieving family members to bear the loss.-KNB
