Srinagar 09 October (KNB): Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu on Saturday visited Dal Lake to monitor the cleanliness drive/ De-weeding under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
A handout issued here said that the sanitation & de-weeding of Dal Lake is continuing under the guidance of Alok Kumar Principal Secretary YS&S / Estates Department, NDRF, SDRF, CRPF, BSF, Fire Services, LAWDA.
However, Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu also visited Dal Lake to participate and oversee the process of De-weeding and Cleanliness drive going on there.
He was accompanied by various officers including Joint Commissioner SMC Syed Abul Qasim.
It is pertinent to mention that students of different colleges and Kashmir University joined this drive. (KNB)
