Srinagar 27 January (KNB): A landslide occurred in the morning at Panthyal area of Ramban has resulted in the temporary closure of the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
As per reports, the only surface road connecting Kashmir with the rest of the country was blocked in wake of the landslides at Panthyal area.
Following the landslide, man and machinery swung into action to help in clearing the debris for smooth passage of vehicles.
Days ago, in an incident of a truck getting stuck in a mud at Panthyal spot had also rendered the NH-44 temporarily blocked and was later on shut for the traffic movement. (KNB)
