Kupwara 20 April (KNB): Keeping in view the present scenario of Novel Corona Virus, on the directions of SSP Kupwara Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy (IPS), a mobile campaign was launched on Tuesday in the District in which the general Public was informed about the precautionary measures of deadly Covid-19.
In the campaign, officials stated the DO’s and DONT’s as: Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu like symptoms. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Avoid direct contact with body fluids, particularly oral and respiratory secretion and stool. Avoid un-protected contact with line farm or wild animal.
“Avoid unnecessary visits to crowded places and Inform about the persons having travel history to other countries,” officials added.
Moreover, officials stressed upon the little things that each one of can do; we must strictly follow SOPs regarding mask, washing hands and using sanitisers. We must keep wearing mask at all times in someone’s presence.
We must not move our mask towards the chin while talking and have more ventilation in our rooms. More importantly, we can avoid physical socialising & postpone all planned get-together.
During the campaign, the general public was also informed and further appealed to follow the advisory already issued by the Government and cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
“Any person found violating Govt. Order will be strictly taken to task under law,” officials said.
Furthermore, officials said that the restrictions have been imposed in the district during night ordered by District Magistrate Kupwara.(KNB)
