Srinagar 27 Jan(KNB): In an important development, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) today unveiled its first calendar showcasing the infrastructure and distribution system of the Corporations.
A statement issued to news gathering agency KNB said that MD KPDCL Dr Basharat Qayoom IAS unveiled the calendar, Ajaz Ahmad Dar Chief Engineer and important officials dawned the occasion.
Ajaz Ahmad Dar termed the calendar as an important informative tool with reference to rapid progress made by the Power Department in Jammu and Kashmir, Statement said
The calendar highlights in a special way the Distribution infrastructure of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr Basharat Qayoom, IAS, Managing Director on the occasion expressed utmost pleasure on the launch of the first of its kind calendar. He observed that the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited is making rapid strides towards a better consumer service.
He further added that the calendar would be an annual affair by the KPDCL with the focus in upcoming calendars highlighting the achievements of the KPDCL and consumer awareness on important areas.(KNB)
