Srinagar 25 October (KNB): “All the desired things which Kashmir wanted for, will be before your eyes ahead of 2024 and no one can disrupt Kashmir’s development and peace,” said Union Home Minister of India Amit Shah on Monday at Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre, Srinagar.
While inaugurating and laying the foundation stones of several developmental projects from SKICC, HM Amit Shah said to the audience sitting before him to shed fear and assured them that no one could disrupt the development and peace of Kashmir.
Amit Shah said that after the decision taken on 5 August 2019, he visited J&K for the first time. He said that under Narendra Modi’s leadership, in J&K and especially in the valley, a new era of development has started. “I want to assure you that by 2024 you will see very beautiful results,” said the Union Home Minister.
Amit Shah spoke about Narendra Modi’s concerns for Kashmir and said the PM always wants to make sure whether all schemes are furnished to the valley or not.
Regarding internet restrictions and curfew put in place after August 5, he said without restrictions, the feelings of youth would have been stoked and in the following situation, a Kashmiri youth would have been killed.
He lashed out at the ones, who had been telling that after abrogation of Article 370, the land will be snatched from Kashmir’s people. Amit Shah said lies were being spread about the land to be snatched from people.
Shah said that ones with power, merit and strength are being provided with jobs and would continue like that. While referring to jobs to be provided by considering one’s mettle, he added that three families’ corruption has come to an end with that.
He said that in Bemina Srinagar, a 500 bedded hospital has been started at the cost of 115 Cr. rupees. “Medical colleges of Kupwara and Handwara would be inaugurated from here today,” said Home Minister Amit Shah. He said that in two years, work related to seven medical colleges have been completed by Narendra Modi.
Besides, Shah talked about several other investments taken up in J&K and others to be completed, which would generate employment opportunities in UT.
Amit Shah said that in time ahead, J&K is going to become the most developed place in the whole country. (KNB)
