Srinagar 07 June (KNB): Traffic Police authorities on Monday said that there would be traffic movement from Srinagar to Jammu and vice versa on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway tomorrow subject to fair weather.
They further said that light motor vehicles passengers shall be allowed tomorrow from both sides of Jammu to Srinagar and from Srinagar to Jammu only after the better road condition and clement weather.
However, on 09-06-2021 (Wednesday) there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and same would be for either side of Srinagar-Sonamarg- Gumari road in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW and Zoji la axis, as per the official.
The officials further said that Security Forces are advised not to ply against the advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. “They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW,” added the official. (KNB)
