J&K Bank’s Defunct Mobile Application ‘mPAY’ Leaves Customers Agonised

Srinagar 11 December (KNB): The Jammu and Kashmir bank’s defunct mobile application ‘JK Bank mPAY, has left its customers agonised as the bank has failed to resolve the issue even after upgradation.

The users of the mPAY, who use it for a various thing– Mini statement, Balance Enquiry, Funds Transfer within Bank, NEFT/IMPS, Term Deposits, Loan Requests, Bill payments and Mobile recharges – have to face a lot of hassle due to failed logins even after the updating the application.

“The app is not letting me to login for my transactions. I am growing very concerned related to my account’s updates. It used to lessen my burden while making daily transactions and other affairs. The bank authorities should fix this error as soon as they can,” said a distressed customers.

Last week, J&K Bank asked its consumers to update the application with newer 4.0.27 version but after updating, it still failed to function. Besides the bank has restricted users to use Wifi during the up gradation of app.

While the J&K bank’s mPAY assures one of the 24*7 service and its compatibility with the both Android and IPhone handsets, but the bank is gaining odd replies on its official Facebook handle from the customers for the major inconvenience.

Regarding the issue, bank officials said the problem lies at the end of network provider.
“We are trying to clear the errors and soon it will be restored, we regret the inconvenience caused to our consumers,” official said. (KNB)
