Srinagar, 09 January(KNB): Jatin Kishore has officially taken charge as the Director of Information in Jammu and Kashmir. Following his appointment, he conducted a brief introductory meeting with department officers, stressing the importance of leveraging modern media platforms to enhance activities and core competencies.
During the meeting, Director Kishore emphasized the need for timely and accurate information dissemination to the public, highlighting the role of transparency and improved communication channels between the government and citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
Subsequently, Director Kishore toured the office complex, engaging with employees and gaining insights into the department’s operations.
Meanwhile, the Directorate of Information and Public Relations bid a warm farewell to the outgoing Director, Minga Sherpa, who has been reassigned as the Deputy Commissioner of Baramulla.-KNB
