Srinagar 18 August (KNB): India has reported 35,178 new cases of Covid19 and 440 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Union Health Ministry.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,14,85,923 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 37,169 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 3,67,415, which constitutes 1.14 percent of total cases in India,” said the Health Ministry.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 1.96 percent, less than 3 percent for the last 23 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 3 percent for the last 54 days, which currently stands at 1.95 percent,” it added.
The ministry further said that 56.06 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and testing capacity substantially ramped up with 49.84 Cr. total tests conducted. (KNB)
