Srinagar 15 December (KNB): India has reported 6,984 new cases of Covid19, with 247 covid19 fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,41,46,931 covid19 patients have recovered so far in the country and 8,168 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 87,562, which constitutes 0.26 percent of the total cases, lowest since March 2020,” said the MoHFW.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 0.59 percent, a figure less than two percent for the last 72 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains 0.67 percent, which is less than one percent for the last 31 days,” it added.
The ministry further said that 134.61 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 65.88 Cr. total tests have been conducted so far throughout the country. (KNB)
