Srinagar 15 December (KNB): Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday ordered for the extension of probation of Junior Scale Probationary of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) batch of 2019.
The order said that the probation of Junior Scale Probationary of JKAS (batch 2019) is extended by a period of one year or till passing of departmental examination by them to be conducted by JKPSC, whichever is earlier.
It was further said that the extension in probation shall be effective for probationers appointed via government order No.1015-GAD of 2019 dated 13-09-2019 and No. 1164-CAD of 2019 dated 23.10.2019 from 13.09.2021 and 23.10.2021 respectively.
“In terms of Rule 21(2)(d) of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956 read With Sub-Rule (3) of Rule 16 of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service Rules, 2008, the probation of Junior Scale Probationers of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (Batch-2019) is hereby extended by a period of one year or till passing of Departmental Examination by them, to be conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, whichever is earlier,” reads the order.
