Srinagar 20 December (KNB): India has reported 6,563 new cases of Covid19, with 132 covid19 fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,41,87,017 covid19 patients have recovered so far in the country and 8,077 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 82,267, which constitutes 0.24 percent of the total cases, lowest since March 2020,” said the MoHFW.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 0.75 percent, a figure less than two percent for the last 77 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains 0.60 percent, which is less than one percent for the last 36 days,” it added.
The ministry further said that 137.67 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 66.51 Cr. total tests have been conducted so far throughout the country. (KNB)
