Srinagar 20 December (KNB): J&K Peoples Conference Sajad Gani Lone on Monday took a dig on President NC Dr Farooq Abdullah, MP Hasnian Mosoodi and Union Minister Dr Jitinder Singh, who arrived this morning at Ashok Hotel in New Delhi to attend the second Delimitation Commission meeting.
After Dr FArooq, Mr Mosoodi and Dr Singh were seen in a picture likely taken inside the Ashok Hotel in New Delhi to attend Delimitation Comission’s second meeting, JKPC President Sajad Gani Lone made fun of them and tweeted “Brothers lost in kumbh mela meet again.”
Lone further added that “ ‘Kab Ke Bichhade Huye Hum Aaj Kahaa Aa Ke Mile’ ‘Jaise Shammaa Se Kahi Lau Ye Zilamilaa Ke Mile’ ”.
Lone sarcastically called them brothers lost in ‘Kumbh Mela’ meeting, trying to refer to the period when NC and BJP enjoyed good relationships. Former CM Omar Abdullah was a central Minister in the BJP government as well.
Political arena in the UT is warming up as most of the parties have been holding rallies in different areas, including former CM and leader of Opposition in Parliament Ghulam Nabi Azad also held rallies.
Congress and NC have already held public rallies in Jammu province of the UT. (KNB)
