Srinagar 7 July (KNB): India reported 43,733 new novel coronavirus cases and 930 deaths due to the virus in last 24 hours, as per the data by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The Health Ministry in it’s morning update said that India’s active caseload has declined to 4,59,920 and the Active cases constitute 1.5 per cent of total cases.
There have been 2,97,99,534 total recoveries across the country so far and 47,240 patients have recovered during last 24 hours, the MoHFW said, adding that the daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 55th consecutive days.
As per the Health Ministry, the recovery rate has increased to 97.18 per cent and the weekly positivity rate remains below 5 per cent, which currently stands at 2.39 per cent.
They said that the daily positivity rate stands at 2.29 per cent, which is less than 3 per cent for 16 consecutive days.
Moreover, as per MoHFW, 36.13 crore vaccine doses have administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
They said that the testing capacity has substantially ramped up and a total of 42.33 crore tests have been conducted. (KNB)
