Srinagar 22 October (KNB): India has reported 15,786 new cases of Covid19, with 231 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,35,14,449 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 18,641 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 1,75,745, which constitutes 0.51 percent of total cases,” said the MoHFW.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 1.19 percent, a figure less than three percent for the last 53 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains 1.31 percent, which is less than 3% for the last 119 days,” it added.
The ministry further said that 100.59 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 59.70 Cr total tests have been conducted so far throughout the country. (KNB)
