In Run-up to Air Show, Srinagar Reverberates With Jets’ Rumble

Srinagar 25 September (KNB) In a run-up to the Air Show scheduled to take place on Sunday along the Banks of Dal Lake, the summer capital of J&K reverberates with the roaring sounds of the jets hovering in the sky. 

As per IAF, Air Force Station of Srinagar is going to host an Air Show to commemorate 75 years of Independence and during the event, an aerial show is going to be displayed by Suryakiran Aerobatic Team along with others including Skydiving team etc.  

However, in a lead up to the event with jets streaking across the sky, some netizens are not happy on the microblogging site — Twitter and showed their displeasure regarding the incessant hovering of jets with unbearable noise.

Regarding the event, there is going to be a presence of people, students, trainee pilots and others who would watch the Air Show and for which some vintage points have been decided also. 

Ahead of the Air Show, Traffic Police, Srinagar has also informed the people about traffic to remain off from the Boulevard road and other routes have been kept for the plying of vehicles. (KNB)
