Srinagar 31 May (KNB): An Improvised Explosive Devise (IED) was found and defused by Government Security Forces in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s district Pulwama on Monday.
Officials said that a joint team of security forces detected an IED in the orchids of Panzgam village of Awantipora area of the district.
As per the officials, after the IED was found, a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was calling in and afterwards the explosive device was defused and taken care of professionally.
Moreover, the area was also cordoned off afterwards and officials have initiated an investigation in this regard already. (KNB)
