IED Detonated by Forces in South Kashmir’s Pulwama 

Srinagar 23 April (KNB): An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was on Friday morning found near the Circle Road in South Kashmir’s Pulwama, said an official.

According to the official, the IED was detected by the security forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama at Circle Road, which later was detonated by the Bomb Disposal Squad after reaching the spot. 

Officials have said that a major incident was averted and have taken an investigation into it. 

However, police also tweeted that “Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detected at Circle Road, Pulwama. Destroyed by Bomb Disposal Squad. A major incident averted. Further details shall follow.” (KNB)
