Srinagar 22 January (KNB): A senior delegation of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) Saturday left for Norway to held talks on a wide-array of issues with representatives of various countries and a number of Afghans, as per spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdul Qahar Balkhi.
The official said that the delegation of IEA left for Norway in a special flight and would hold talks with representatives of various countries and a number of Afghans about Humanitarian Aid, Political, Educational and Economic issues.
It was further said that the delegation was led by Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi. Yesterday, Balkhi had said, “At the invitation of Norway, a senior delegation led by Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi will leave for Oslo tomorrow.”
He further said that “the delegation met in Storai Palace – MoFA yesterday to discuss details of agenda and other relevant matters, fully preparing for the visit.” (KNB)
