HM Amit Shah Visits Kheer Bhawani Temple, Offers Prayer

Srinagar 25 October (KNB): Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday visited Kheer Bhawani Durga temple in Ganderbal and offered prayers there. 

Amit Shah is on a three day visit to J&K which is going to conclude today. He landed in Srinagar on Saturday and took a security review meeting in Srinagar with top brass of Army and other senior officials. 

Later, he participated in a public rally in Jammu on Sunday and visited Maqwal, the last village on the border of India in Jammu and inquired about the condition of the villagers, said Amit Shah on Twitter. 

Amit Shah added on twitter that “As much as a citizen living in the capital has the right to the resources of the country, so is the citizen living in the border village. Under the leadership of Modiji, we are committed to provide every facility and development till the border. 

Shah met BSF personnel after visiting the Border Out Post in Maqwal. He said that the dedication of our security guards towards the defense of India is truly amazing. 

“The central government under the leadership of (Narendra Modi) is fully devoted to the welfare of our security forces guarding the country and the care of their families. I want to tell everyone that you should protect the country without worry, the Modi government will take care of your families,” added Shah on Twitter. (KNB)
