Srinagar 10 August (KNB): A grenade was lobbed by suspected militants on Tuesday afternoon at Hari Singh High Street area of district Srinagar’s Lal Chowk.
As per news agency Kashmir News Bureau reports, the grenade was lobbed by suspected militants near Amira Kadal at Hari Singh High Street, which is the commercial hub of the City, during the afternoon hours.
Officials said that the grenade was hurled towards the security forces present in the area but missed on it’s intended target.
However, the explosion has resulted in injuries to around 10 civilians, who were taken to SMHS hospital for treatment.
Moreover, security forces have taken to the spot of incident as well as cordoned off the area to nab the attackers. (KNB)
