Srinagar November 11(KNB):An important meeting of Gayoor Foundation was held at Tagore Hall, Srinagar under the chairmanship of Foundation Chairman Engineer Syed Showkat Gayoor Andrabi, in which system of organization was discussed and members of the Executive Council presented their views.
Newly joined members, especially renowned trade union leader and social activist Farooq Trali, retired SSP Syed Shabir Ahmad Gelani, retired secretary Abdul Rasheed Wani, famous penman Pirzada Masrat Shah and Dr. Muhammad Altaf Dar were congratulated by Chairman Engineer Showkat for joining the foundation. Syed Showkat Gayoor congratulated the newly elected General Secretary Zahoor Ragi and all the members welcomed him warmly and garlanded him. The General Secretary of the Foundation, Zahoor Ragi, gave detailed information regarding the new programs of the association, while the progress regarding the establishment of the foundation’s head office in Srinagar was reviewed. Then in April, the annual meeting of the foundation was also deliberated. During this, Pirzada Musrat Shah was assigned the responsibility for the women’s wing of the foundation, while on the occasion of ‘Yomi Ghayoor’ held on October 22, the senior journalist Syed Muhammad Shafi Samnani was assigned the responsibility. He was congratulated for being honored by the foundation.
During the high-level function held at the University of Kashmir recently, the chairman also congratulated the members for awarding the award to Gayoor Foundation. Other members who participated in the meeting included: Vice-Chairman Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Treasurer Advocate Ghulam Hasan Kochhe, Coordinator Dr. Syed Anwar Andrabi, Engineer Yasir Muhammad Baba, Dr. Parvez Ahmad Butt, Syed Latif Saifullah, Khurshid Ahmad Qureshi, Dr. Javed Ahmad Kawa, Mushtaq Kenny, Fayyaz Hussain Nengro, Publicist.
