Srinagar, 12 November ((KNB): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and constituency in-charge of Habba Kadal, Arif Laigaroo convened a meeting on Sunday with residents of the area.
According to the statement issued to KNB, The gathering focused on various issues aimed at strengthening the party with particular attention given to upcoming Lok Sabha elections and the prevailing circumstances in the region.
During the meeting participants discussed strategies to bolster the party’s presence and address social challenges.
Arif Laigaroo emphasized the need for organized campaigns against societal issues particularly highlighting the menace of drug abuse. He called upon the community to monitor the youth in their respective areas and actively contribute to the betterment of society.
Statement further stated that, Expressing concern over the current situation in Kashmir, Laigaroo conveyed his hope for the restoration of lasting peace.
