Srinagar, May 05(KNB): TheFour Accused Arrested for Sexual Assault Case that Led to Woman’s Death Srinagar Police have demonstrated exemplary promptness and efficiency in apprehending all four accused individuals involved in a heinous attempted sexual assault case near Water Works Road, Nishat.
The incident occurred when a group of individuals attempted to sexually assault a woman, who sustained grievous injuries and was later declared brought dead at the hospital. The Srinagar Police immediately registered FIR No. 35/2025 under relevant sections of law at Police Station Nishat and initiated a thorough investigation.
Through meticulous investigation, the police identified and arrested the four accused persons:
- Suhail Bashir Bhat, son of Bashir Ahmad, resident of Asham Sumbal
- Adil Ali Bhat, son of Ali Mohammad, resident of Zeethyar Nishat
- Firdous Ahmad Rather, son of Ghulam Ahmad, resident of Zeethyar Nishat
- Suhail Afzal Bhat, son of Mohammad Afzal, resident of Pahloo Brein
