First Batch of Hajj Pilgrims to Depart from Srinagar on Sunday

Srinagar 03 April(KNB): The first batch of 178 Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir will depart from Srinagar International Airport on Sunday. The pilgrims, comprising 96 males and 82 females, will mark the beginning of this year’s Hajj season.

Over 3,600 pilgrims from J&K are scheduled to perform Hajj under the government quota.

The entire departure process will span from May 4 to May 15, with 11 flights scheduled.
