Baramulla, 22 June(KNB): Security forces on Wednesday evening launched a cordon-and-search operation in Palhallan village of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Official sources said that a joint team of security forces launched door-to-door searches in tantraypora Palhallan village following inputs about the presence of militants there.
They said that all the entry and exit points were sealed.
Meanwhile, searches were going on in the area when last reports came in.(KNB)
