Feroze Peerzada Resigns From JKPM

Srinagar 27 October (KNB): Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movements Feroze Peerzada has put forth his resignation as president and from other basic membership of JKPM.

In a letter directed to the State Executive Members of JKPM, Feroze Peerzada stated that due to his personal reasons, he regrets to inform that on 27th October 2020, he has resigned from the post of President as well as from basic membership of JKPM.

He stated, “Having support and honour of my 20 executive committee members I will be always thankful and I truly feel upset and sorry that I am resigning from President post of JKPM. I will always be thankful to people who have encouraged and supported me”.

I request my senior vice president of the party Adv. Syed Tahir Iqbal to take responsibility as the interim party president or anybody can take responsibility of president post, he further stated.

In the past there was a divide in the party, as the founder and former president of JKPM Shah Faisal resigned. Since then there has been two JKPM parties in the region, one headed by Javaid Mustafa Mir and another by (now resigned) Feroze Peerzada, both claiming to be the leaders of real JKPM party.(KNB)
