Ex-Fin Min Abdul Rahim Rather’s Son Joins JKPC

Srinagar 16 October (KNB): National Conference senior leader Abdul Rahim Rather’s son Hilal Ahmad Rather on Saturday joined the People’s Conference here in presence of party chief Sajad Gani Lone and other senior leaders. 

On the joining of Hilal to PC, Lone said that he is very happy that Hilal has joined the party and consider him as his younger brother. “I am very happy that Hilal has joined the caravan of change,” said Lone. 

Lone said that the delusional ones, who refuse to see the reality as it exists and want to create the reality as they want to see, that PC has arrived and would conquer for the best of the people of J&K.   

Replying to a question of a reporter whether he had consulted his father before joining JKPC, Hilal said he has not consulted his father and was always given free space by him to make his own decision. 

Regarding his joining to PC, Hilal said that his dream has been to work with the youth of the UT and the conflict has destroyed the youth here. “As the story is too big, I had to join some political party,” said Hilal, adding that Sajad Lone is a dynamic leader with progressive vision and likes his style of work.  

Hilal further said, in response to a reporter’s question, that he has not joined politics to do it in a negative way but is present for a positive politics. (KNB)
