Srinagar 15 October (KNB): An encounter has started between militants and security forces in South Kashmir’s Wahibug area on Friday afternoon.
As per an official, the encounter started in Wahibug area of south Kashmir after a cordon and search operation was carried out by a joint team of Police, CRPF and Army.
The official said that the firing has started at the encounter site and forces are engaged with the militants at present.
The encounter comes after the one in Mendhar area of Poonch which has been going on since yesterday as per army official. (KNB)
