Srinagar 14 June (KNB): During the digging of borewell in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, one labourer died on Monday and the other two sustained injuries.
As per an official, among the total of three labourers, one died and other two were shifted to a hospital when they were digging the borewell in Bijbehara’s Khiram area.
The reason behind the death of the labourer and other two getting injured was cited the collapsing of a wall.
However, the three persons have been identified as Sahaba, Nazir Ahmad Lone and Sabzar Ahmad Lone, a labourer who died during the mishap.
Following the incident, police also reached the spot after being called in by the locals of the area. (KNB)
