DPAP Leader Tariq Ahmad Mir Demands administration Attention to Mounting Garbage Crisis in Mohalla Dewanbagh

Baramulla 13 March(KNB):: DPAP Leader and District Secretary Baramulla Tariq Ahmad Mir has urged the administration to address the severe garbage disposal problem plaguing Mohalla Dewanbagh in Baramulla.

Tariq said, This area, located mere meters from the district’s administrative hub, has been overlooked by municipal waste collection, leading to mounting garbage around the masjid and surrounding areas.

He said that the masjid, frequented by officials from various nearby offices for prayers, is surrounded by damaged fencing, roads allegedly occupied by unauthorized structures, tilted poles, and most critically, uncollected waste material. The situation has escalated to the point where garbage hoopers are overflowing, and the waste is not being collected.

“The lack of attention to such a central location raises questions about the efficiency of municipal services and the prioritization of public health and safety, he added.

Tariq Ahmad Mir’s appeal to the LG Administration to provide essential services that locals depend on and the need for immediate intervention to ensure a clean and safe environment for all.(KNB)
