Diwali Greetings from Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association in Baramulla

Baramulla, 12 November (KNB): The Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association in Baramulla led by District President Altaf Hussain Bhat conveyed warm Diwali wishes to the residents of the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory.

In a statement issued to newsagencyKashmirNewsBureau-KNB, Bhat expressed hope that Diwali would usher in a era of peace, progress and prosperity.

Highlighting the significance of the festival of lights, Bhat emphasized its potential to strengthen communal harmony, brotherhood, amity, tranquility and secularism. He extended heartfelt prayers for the well-being of the people of the Union Territory.

Provincial President Ishfaq Ahmad Shah echoed these sentiments in his message, emphasizing the tradition of celebrating festivals in an atmosphere of amity and brotherhood. He called for the continued nurturing of this trait in Jammu & Kashmir.

Leaders including Mohd Rafeeq Lone, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Farooq Ahamd Dar, Javid Iqbal, Sajad Ahmad Bhat, Mohd Sayeed, Bilal Ahmad Lone, Munaver Hussain Shabir Ahmad, Mohd Imran Dar and others collectively extended their greetings to teaching employees celebrating Diwali.-KNB
