Srinagar 07 October (KNB): Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Aijaz Asad yesterday provided a relief amount to the tune of 1,25,000 to the kin of a non local street vendor, who was killed by unknown gunmen on Tuesday evening in Srinagar’s Lal Bazar area.
As per district administration Srinagar, DC Aijaz Asad handed over a relief amount of Rs 1.25 lakhs to the kin of Virender Paswan, who was left dead after being shot by some gunmen.
Paswan was a street vendor hailing from Bhagalpur area of Bihar. He was killed on the evening of Tuesday when two other persons, including M L Bindroo and Mohammad Shafi, were shot dead.
However, DC Srinagar has also assured further financial assistance to be provided to the Paswan’s family shortly. (KNB)
