Srinagar 07 October (KNB): Border Security Forces (BSF) Jammu on Thursday foiled a weapon smuggling attempt in Samba district of Jammu division and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition, as per senior BSF officer.
The officer in a statement said that BSF personnel in Samba foiled a weapon smuggling attempt which was made from across the International Border.
It was said that a huge cache of arms and ammunition was seized after foiling the weapon smuggling bid to this side. The officer said that 4 pistols, 8 pistol magazines and 232 rounds were seized.
However, after the foiling of the weapon smuggling bid, the officer said that further details in this regard shall follow. (KNB)
