Srinagar 6 January (KNB): A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Sub Inspector was killed as the ceiling of a shed collapsed due to snow accumulation, at former legislator’s house in Hazratbal area of Srinagar.
Officials said that a CRPF Sub Inspector identified as H C Murmu of 115 battalion suffered major injuries after a shed collapsed over him due to snow accumulation, at former Hazratbal legislator Syed M Akhoon’s residence.
Immediately after the incident the CRPF personnel was rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Hazratbal, where from he was referred to SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), officials said.
Upon reaching the hospital, doctors declared him brought dead, officials added. (KNB)
