Srinagar, August 31(KNB):A civilian was injured in an ongoing encounter at Bomai area of North Kashmir’s Sopore on Wednesday evening.
As per top police official,stated that a civilian namely Ali Mohd Ganie son of Abdul Ahad Ganie resident of Bomai recieved bullet injury in his leg during ongoing gunfight between millitants and forces in the evening hours of Wednesday.
As per report the injured has been shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment, where his condition is stated to be stable, the officer added.
It’s pertinent to mention here,Earlier one militant was also killed during intial exchange of fire with security forces.(KNB)
