Srinagar 12 October (KNB): A raid was carried out on the house of Baseer Khan, ex-advisor to LG J&K Manoj Sinha, by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday morning in Srinagar.
The raid was carried out by CBI along with police at Khan’s residence in Baghat early this morning. The reason behind the CBI conducting a raid on the house of Baseer Khan was not immediately known.
He was relieved from the post of Advisor to LG J&K Manoj Sinha some days ago. Khan, a 2000 batch IAS officer, has served on different posts throughout his career. (KNB)
