Srinagar 02 May(KNB): The body of 24-year-old Taufeeq Ahmad Chopan, a resident of Rainawari’s Chopan Mohalla, was recovered from Dal Lake on Saturday morning.
He went missing after a boat capsized near Duck Park on Friday due to strong winds. Despite rescue efforts, Chopan couldn’t be found until early Saturday.
Another person on the boat, Abdul Majeed Khosa, was rescued alive. SDRF and local agencies assisted in the recovery operation.(KNB)
