Block office building damaged in Blaze at Aloosa Bandipora

Lashker Toiba posters appeared asking people to boycott upcoming Panchayat Elections

Bandipora 07 September (KNB):  Massive fire engulfed Block office building in Aloosa village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday night at 2:00am after huge blast like sound was heard near panchayat ghar.




According to reports reached to Kashmir News Bureau “At around 2:00 am last night, huge blast like sound heard in panchayat ghar followed by fire in block office building which created panic among people.

A poster of militant outfit Laskhar toiba was posted at bathroom door which reads, “All people are requested not to participate in upcoming Panchayat elections, if anyone found directly or indirectly involved, they will face punishment.

It further reads “From last few days this block is much involved in running election campaign, and most of them are block employees, this is last warning.”

Written on Laskhar toiba letterhead, the poster has a stamped of district commander Bandipora.

However official said “we are investigating the case and verifying the credentials of the posters. (KNB)
