Srinagar, 07 Sep (KNB): Bomb disposal squad on Friday morning defused a live grenade in inside a nallah near famous Dachigam National Park in Harwan 23 Kms from Srinagar city.
According to officials, “a live hand grenade was found early this morning by Central reserve force inside the nallah near the Dachigam national park.”
However, acting immediately Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) rushed to spot and defused the bomb.
“The grenade was later destroyed by BDS and CRPF without causing any damage,” official said.
Meanwhile, police has registered case in police station Harwan and investigation has been started. (KNB)
