Srinagar, Sept 6 (KNB): PDP senior leader and former minister Ashraf Mir has supported the demands of the protesting SSA teachers and has appealed to the state Governor to resolve their issues.
Mir said that the teachers are builders of a nation and it is their hard work and dedication which shapes societies and future of any nation.
He said that teachers coming on the streets to seek their genuine demands does not behove good for any society.
“It speaks about how concerned we are about our teachers. Those who demand respect are out on roads and protesting for their genuine demands. This is a grave concern,” he said in a statement.
Mir sought intervention of the governor at the earliest to resolve all the issues of the protesting teachers within shortest possible time.(KNB)
